The Challenge

The beauty industry lacked a unified platform for job hunting, suite rentals, and training opportunities. Stylists had to browse multiple job boards, and salons struggled to find qualified candidates. Traditional platforms focused on only one category, leaving gaps for suite rentals and apprenticeships.

Our Solution

We built Hair for Hire, a Flutter-based two-sided marketplace with three listing types: job postings, salon suite rentals, and education/apprenticeship programs. Candidates build professional profiles with work history, licenses, and portfolios. Businesses manage listings and connect with candidates through Stream Chat. AI-powered listing generation helps businesses create professional descriptions instantly.
