Privacy Policy

1. Who we are

My Tenth Step is published by Pitch 15 Solutions Inc. (“we”, “us”), 2701 N Thanksgiving Way, Suite 100, Lehi, UT 84043, USA.

2. What we collect

What we hold depends on how you use the app.

You provide

• Account details such as a username and contact email
• Daily check-ins, mood notes, gratitude, goals, and personal inventory you enter
• Messages and membership in private squads you join
• Anything you send us for support

Recovery notes can be personal. We process them to operate the app for you — not to sell, advertise against, or profile you for unrelated marketing.

Collected automatically

• Device and log data needed to run and secure the service (for example IP address, device type, crash diagnostics, and timestamps)
• Push-notification tokens if you allow notifications (you can turn these off in device settings)

We do not buy personal information about you from third parties.

3. How we use it

• To provide check-ins, inventory, squads, and account features
• To generate optional AI insights from content you submit for that feature
• To send transactional notices and, if you allow them, reminders
• To keep the service secure, debug problems, and meet legal duties

If you use AI insights, relevant text you submit for that feature is sent to the model provider solely to return the insight. We do not use your recovery notes to train public models for unrelated products.

4. Who we share with

We share information only as needed to run the app:

• Infrastructure — hosting, database, and authentication (including Supabase)
• Notifications — OneSignal, if you enable push notifications
• Payments — Apple, Google, and RevenueCat process in-app purchases. We do not store full payment-card numbers
• AI features — the provider that returns insights you request
• Legal or business transfer — if required by valid legal process, or if the company or app is sold, under this policy

Squad members see the messages you send in that squad. We do not sell or share personal information for advertising.

5. Retention and security

We keep account and app data while your account is active and as long as needed for the purposes above, or longer if the law requires. When we no longer need it, we delete or isolate it (backups may lag deletion).

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures. No internet service is perfectly secure. You should use the app on a device you control.

6. Children

My Tenth Step is not for anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from minors. If you believe a minor has an account, write to privacy@pitch15.solutions and we will delete it.

7. Your choices

You can review and edit what you entered in the app, turn off notifications in device settings, and delete your account in Settings or by following these steps.

Where privacy law gives you additional rights (including California and Virginia), you may request access, correction, deletion, or a portable copy, and you may opt out of sale or sharing — we do not sell or share personal information as those laws define those terms. We will not discriminate against you for exercising those rights. We may need to verify that a request is yours. Authorized agents must show proof of authority.

Email privacy@pitch15.solutions to make a request. We respond within the time the applicable law requires. If we decline a request where an appeal right exists, you may appeal to the same address.

We do not currently respond to browser Do Not Track signals because there is no common standard for them.

8. Changes

We may update this policy. The date at the top will change. If a change is material, we will post a notice in the app or otherwise make it reasonably obvious before it takes effect.
