Accessibility Statement for rmbrme

Last updated: July 27, 2026 • Published by Pitch 15 Solutions Inc.

Our Commitment

At Pitch 15 Solutions, we believe relationship software should be usable by everyone. rmbrme is built natively for iOS using SwiftUI to seamlessly support Apple's system-wide accessibility standards — including VoiceOver, Dynamic Type, High Contrast, and Reduce Motion.

VoiceOver & Screen Reader Support

rmbrme is fully annotated for VoiceOver. Every interactive screen, person profile, rmbr detail note, search input, and setting is equipped with descriptive accessibility labels, hints, and traits:

  • Clear Navigation: VoiceOver announces screen headers, back buttons, and tab items logically.
  • Action Hints: Buttons clearly announce their function (e.g., "Add new rmbr," "Flag for next conversation," "Call contact").
  • State Feedback: Toggles and flags (such as Ask Next Time or Sensitive) announce their current state when selected.

Dynamic Type & Scalable Text

The app adopts iOS Dynamic Type across all text elements. If you adjust text size in iOS Settings > Accessibility > Display & Text Size, rmbrme text scales smoothly to match your preference — including large Accessibility font sizes.

  • Layouts reflow automatically to prevent clipped text or overlapping buttons.
  • Cards and list items adjust spacing dynamically to remain fully legible.

High Contrast & Dark Mode

rmbrme adheres to WCAG 2.1 AA contrast ratio guidelines for all text, icons, and background elements in both Light and Dark modes:

  • Dark Mode Support: Full native dark mode designed to reduce eye strain and assist low-vision users.
  • System Increase Contrast: Respects the system Increase Contrast toggle to enforce higher distinction between cards, text, and borders.
  • No Color-Only Information: Key indicators (like alert statuses or sensitive flags) pair color with distinct icons and text labels.

Touch Targets & Motion Controls

  • Standard Touch Targets: All buttons, options, and interactive elements adhere to Apple's Human Interface Guidelines with minimum touch target sizes of 44x44 points.
  • Reduce Motion: When Reduce Motion is turned on in iOS Settings, rmbrme disables non-essential UI animations and transitions in favor of clean fade-ins.
  • Tactile Haptics: Provides subtle, clear haptic feedback for actions like saving or flagging an rmbr.
