The Challenge

The client needed to replace legacy currency exchange systems with a modern, compliant platform capable of handling complex FX trading operations. The existing infrastructure lacked proper audit trails, couldn't meet EU regulatory requirements (GDPR, MiFID II, PSD2, 5AMLD), and had significant limitations in risk management and real-time rate processing.

Our Solution

We built Everfex, a comprehensive FX trading platform with a multi-layered architecture designed for EU fintech compliance. The system features immutable audit logging with cryptographic hash chains, automated rate fetching from central banks, sophisticated margin and settlement management, and enterprise-grade security including MFA and field-level encryption.

Immutable Audit Trail

370+ action types tracked with SHA-256 hash chains. Every data modification recorded with full before/after comparison.

Real-Time FX Rates

Automated NBP rate fetching with cross-currency calculation engine. Configurable pip-based margin system per client.

Risk Management

Pre-trade validation, position limits, concentration monitoring, and circuit breaker patterns for system protection.

Enterprise Security

MFA with TOTP/SMS, AES-256-GCM field encryption, API key management, and risk-based authentication triggers.
